Our Church and Mission
First Presbyterian Church of Vancouver is a community that is exploring faith, embracing hope, and extending love. We celebrate a strong Christian faith through our traditional worship, prayer, and joyful music. With God’s grace, our vision is to be more diverse, inclusive, and multi-generational. We strive to strengthen our vigorous local mission efforts in the community as well as targeted national and international projects.
We have joined our denomination’s initiative to become a Matthew 25 church by Building Congregational Vitality, Dismantling Structural Racism, and Eradicating Systemic Poverty.
Our Preschool
For over 30 years First Presbyterian Church has offered an affordable, high-quality preschool with an excellent staff committed to the academic, social, and spiritual growth of students. Due to Covid-19 Noah’s Ark Preschool won’t be opening its physical building until health conditions allow, but staff are pleased to provide high quality lessons and activities online free of charge for our community.
