Accepting Applications for Exhibitors and Sponsors for 2022
Dear Friends,
Greetings to you and yours! We are happy to announce we are accepting applications for sponsors and exhibitors for the 2022 Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair. We’d be delighted to have you participate. We all want to work on peace and justice!
WHEN: Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 9AM to 4PM (setup begins at 7AM)
WHERE: Esther Short Park, 8th and Columbia, Vancouver
WHAT: Community fair to promote social, environmental peace and justice; a non-partisan non-proselytizing event; music, dance, and other entertainment on the main stage; fun stuff for kids and the whole family; no speeches.
Sponsorship has its rewards!
- Your name on the Fair posters (if you register by July 1)
- A certificate for you to post in your office saying you are sponsors of the fair.
- Your name on the Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair Facebook page.
- Your name mentioned from the main stage during the day of the fair
- An optional double-sized space, that’s 20 feet wide by 10 feet. You bring your own awnings and tables.
It’s only $125 to be a sponsor of the Fair, which also gives you the option of having a table at the fair. It is only $50 to be an exhibitor. Last year we saw how fewer groups made the day much smoother for all, so we this year we are limiting the number of groups to 85.
Exhibitors are the heart of the Fair. If being a sponsor is not in the cards for your group this year, print and fill out the attached form. Mail it in with your check. Each exhibitor may choose a 10’ x 10’ space on the grass in the park. To keep the prices low, each group will need to provide their own table, chairs, and, if desired, an awning/tent.
Exhibitors at the Fair need to emphasize how they promote peace and social or environmental justice. We do not allow proselytizing or campaigning for a political party or candidate. Each group will provide a mission statement when registering. Your materials should reflect how you work for or what you believe about peace and social justice.
