Join us at an IGV meeting to get involved in local progressive education and action!

In January 2017, a group of SW Washington citizens formed Indivisible – Clark County, WA, which later became Indivisible Greater Vancouver (IGV). Our mission is to ensure that our elected representatives:

– Foster and protect a vibrant, inclusive democracy for all Americans;
– Make their motives transparent; and
– Are accountable for making evidence-based decisions.

IGV is a volunteer-run, non-partisan, consensus-based organization comprised of individuals striving to ward off authoritarianism and promote progressive action. IGV is not associated with a specific political party. We are unified by a vision of:

– A sustainable planet
– High quality, affordable, accessible health care for all
– Affordable, safe housing
– Social and economic equity
– Civil rights
– Worker and consumer safety
– Safe and responsible gun ownership
– The rule of just law
– Elimination of corruption
– Preservation of our democracy

We are committed to fostering civil discourse about how to realize this vision.

IGV meets the second Friday evening of each month from January through November in an open forum offering informational speakers, candidate introductions, networking, and organizing. For the past three years, IGV members have engaged in progressive action—rallies, marches, letter-writing, educational events, meetings with elected officials, candidate support, ballot parties, and more. We partner with other organizations, including MoveOn-Clark County, LULAC, the NAACP, Swing Left, Indivisible Oregon, and Lower Columbia Indivisible.
